I'll talk a little about the organization I've been a part of for a few years and where most of the amigurumi dolls I've made have gone. The organization in the United States that I belong to is the Carolina Pine Needle Quilters Guild.The women who belong to that organization make quilts using patchwork and, in turn, forward them to the organization, where children abused by close relatives and family members end up. My dolls have also gone to that organization for years. The children in the institution can choose a blanket and a cuddly doll for themselves, and when they leave, they take them with so that the feeling of security does not disappear.
