Tutvustus Raini kohta:

I have been working with woodwork since 1995. During these years, I have made handmade log houses, built wooden frame buildings, made furniture. For 14 years of my life, I have been making various attractions for children's playgrounds. I have long-term experience in finishing furniture and various wooden parts. In recent years, I have been active in the production of seating furniture made of wood and concrete. As a hobby, I have made various wooden house decorations.

About Silja:

I come from a family of craftsmen, both on my mother's and father's side. My grandmother on my mother's side was a seamstress and the grandmother on my father's side was a filigree-jewellery artist, who started painting after retiring.

I started crocheting in 2017, when I bought my first crochet tutorial book, "Võluväega mänguasjad". The author of the book is Mari-Liis Lille, and I can safely say that she piqued my interest in amigurumi dolls. The feeling when the doll starts to come to life at the end of the "hook" (*crochet hook) is wonderful, and sometimes you can't stop until the end result is ready. Really, it's addictive! I have been making dolls for charity for many years because there are so many children in the world who, at different stages of their lives, need a little friend to cuddle or just to get through difficult moments with. Knowing that I can bring joy to someone with my craft warms my heart and makes my hands work even faster.

However, I started painting 2 years ago. Thanks to my friend Kersti, who one fine summer put a canvas in front of me and handed me a brush with colors and said, "Start painting". That's where the idea of painting came from, and then I started watching various educational videos on YouTube. Today, I have found my favorite painting teachers on YouTube, whom I follow and whose teaching videos I use to develop my hand.
